Dead Apocalypse

Inspired by the text-based adventure games of olde, my client Madsox Games wanted to make a zombie apocalypse adventure with story-driven gameplay, a simple UI system, and visceral comic-book style graphics.

My Role

As the primary creative member on the team I generated all visual-based assets from placeholder examples. I provided creative direction for gameplay, UI/UX Design and Testing, environment design, and worked with another contractor on marketing materials.

What I did

  • Mapped out the user-flow.
  • Established the art direction.
  • Created UI Assets.
  • Designated UX requirements.
  • Created static and animated marketing and environment artwork.
